The Apotek Solutions’ pneumatic conveyors for eggshells provide a reliable, clean and safe alternative to augers. Our systems can handle half egg shells direct from egg breakers or crushed egg shells from centrifuges or screw press units. The rugged designed allows our systems to handle inedible eggs rejected at candling/inspection systems on egg breakers or egg graders.
The system includes high efficiency positive displacement blower, sanitary rotary air-lock valves in stainless steel and a high efficiency cyclone to transfer the egg shells to the centrifuge, dryer or storage silos. The system can be easily connected to the plant’s central CIP system, or to stand-alone CIP cleaning system can be added.
